I've had my revo for about 2 years and my biggest headache is clutches. I've tried all the aftermarket that I know of and replaced the bearings almost every time, still the clutch goes up in smoke after 4 or 5 hours of driving time. Please help me.

Welcome to RCNT!!!! just an FYI if you post this question in the Revo section or general nitro you will get help alot faster, but honestly 4-5 hours sounds like quite a bit of time, but I may be wrong..
 
What fails? The shoes grind up or does the spring break on you?

You can always convert to an 1/8 scale clutch. That's what I did on my revo when I had it. I installed a savage flywheel/shoes/cb on it. It takes a little grinding here and there and a few holes drilled. Should take at most 3 hours or so to do it. You also need a crank shaft extender of some sort.

Meh, I can get about 2-3 hours of solid running and a bunch of neutral to WOT running until my carbon pads get a good glaze and have to be roughed up again. So far I've roughed my pads twice since I got my rig, but keep in mind that I run a GT2. Could be allot different from one rig to another.

I have been breaking the stock clutch shoes at the mounting holes and even ripped the pins off a flywheel.I switched to M2C Racings 3 shoe and have great results so far.Its a bolt on with everthing you need but it costs around $60.00.I have been using the medium shoes but I think the hard shoes would wear better.

If you can find a good ceramic clutch bearing set I think its worth the $ also.The 14 tooth bell uses the popular 8x5 bearing.The 15-17 uses the 10x5 bearing.
 
The Traxxas metal shielded bearings last a long time, much more durable than the rubber shielded ones.
It is probably one of two things. Spur gear mesh too tight or not enough play in the CB on the engine shaft. You need 1-2 mm of fore/aft movement on the CB. Any tighter and it will blow the bearings.
If you have the above set properly, look at your engine/mount and chassis. Something may be bent or cracked.
Edit; i use the M2C 2 shoe clutch. It is holding up great. Well worth the money.
 
i know how people hate integy stuff here but one thing i bought for my 2.5 engine, and just put the same set up on my OS 18 TM is the Integy 3 shoe clutch conversion. its like the savage clutch set up and work REALLY well IMO. and for about $17 its worth it.

I tried their two shoe (shoes only) and melted it down within a few tanks to the point that the spring was destroyed... that was back in the day of 21 extended chassis maxx's. I had a heck of a time keeping clutch's in that thing. Maybe they finally upgraded their aluminum shoes a bit!
