On friday a remake of the classic movie comes out, the zombie movie in the shopping mall. I just hope they don't ruin it. The original is one of the most grusome, gory, funny, awesome movies ever. I have probably seen it 20 times or more. Anyone here from Pittsburg?

I was driving through Pittsburgh once a long time ago. I stopped at a shopping mall to relieve myself after eating a Philly-Cheese with grilled onions and peppers. It was stewing after a long drive. I think thats where / how the first movie came to be.

Too the contrary,
I was alluding to the horridness of the Zombies in the movie and quite possibly their inception. Great Flick!

Dude, if you're crappin zombies, I'm not comin to Cali.

Isn't Rob Zombie doing the remake of this movie? If it's anything like House of 1000 Corpses it will definately be a movie worth seeing!!! BTW Stottm I'm from Pittsburgh.

If he did and it turned out like House of 1000 Corpses, I'd personally drive to where ever the hell he lives and kick him in the nuts.

I don't think Rob Zombie has anything to do with it. He is working on a sequal to his own movie, while the DOD movie is a remake. I asked about pittsburg because the original was made at a mall there somewhere.

The first DOD was filmed in the Moroeville mall which is about 5 seconds from my house.I don't think it is being made by Rob Zombie.I went to the official site and couldn't find his name anywhere and all I found was a "join the zombie army" army link which has nothing to di with him.

Was Dawn of the Dead the movie where they had a Zombie and were trying to train it, or was that Day of the Dead?

No, it was where 4 people landed a heli on the roof of a mall, and hung out there until some bikers came along. What made it fun were the zombies milling around, trying to eat the 'alive' people, fighting over intestines, tearing apart bikers, etc. Great family fun!

Don't be dissing Cali. Cali would happen to be one of my favorite cities in the world. Great place, beautiful women, palm trees, etc...

Palm Trees aren't native to Ca but the beautiful women are.

Man we can hijack a thread like no others.

True dat. It takes real skill to jack a thread and not have it noticed right off.

Anyone see the film 28 Days? It was a bit low budget, but the story was kind of fresh. I think it was a British film, not holyweird.

Yeah, Cali means something else to me than you. Pardon the hell outta me. Sorry for getting confused at your slang word that actually could have a different meaning to the rest of the world.

The one with Sandra Bullock? If so yes I have seen that one while I was locked in the psycho ward for a week. Great movie that I never would have thought about watching had I not been locked up. I really wanted them to show One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest, give me a few ideas of what I could do to one or the three Nurse Cratchett's they had in my ward.
