unless I want to be on the podium, win some races
I only said this bc the .1 is now 3 models old now, being around 5 years old I believe? The newer cars, like the .2, .2CE and the new 84 are all new setups, new innovation and tech, and all these modern cars have more plastic in them, than ever before. Because the OG 74 and the .1 uses aluminum bulkheads for the gear boxes, the newer models are now plastic and are incorporated into the actual gear box, meaning more lightweight. Me personally I'm not all in for it as I'm just an average joe fun club racer going to the track like twice a month, or not even that so IMHO if you can't go to a track on a consistent basis like once a week or more, it's not really worth it to get a newest latest of the greatest model you know.
