thats it Ralph? My town was 101 two days ago, yesterday, and today. Thank god I'm in Florida where its only about 87ish.. hahah

I don't think we've broken 100F here yet... but 95 with 98% humidity is just plain aweful. Sitting and breathing works up a lather...

ew... lather is a bad word to use...

i hate summer. i say that there should be a fat guy index and just add 15 more degs. to the heat index. humidity always makes it worse.

lightweight!!

we have hit over 100 multiple times already (read in the shade), and the humidity is ALWAYS in the 90% or higher.

we have 2 seasons around here. eating season (thanksgiving and christmas) and HOT.

OMG - your desktop is full of shortcuts!!!
RCNT is on a hot key. Everything on the desktop opens a program.

My home county in New York (Rockland County...by the Tappan Zee Bridge) had 2 major hot records yesterday. One at 104 and another at 106. Those were official readings.

I spent 2 years in Texas, Beason. I saw 115 quite a few times. But hey, it's a dry heat.

not where I'm at. I'm 28 miles from the coast. you go outside on a hot day and its like you have to swim to the truck.

sweating is useless, it just makes your clothes heavy, and makes you that much hotter.

A buddy of mine from work just moved to Colorado, but came back last week for some meetings. He said he missed the humidity... I thought he was nuts. He said in Denver, when it's 80 and sunny, you don't really sweat, you just instantly burn and get really dehydrated really fast.

Then again, he's a super nerd, so sunlight isn't his friend...
