So I'm rebuilding a 2 wd Rustler and I've hit a bit of a snag. I'm trying to put the top drive gear (3195) on the input shaft (3793) to go in the transmission but the fit of the gear on the shaft is so tight; having trouble getting the gear on. Anybody got any tips or tricks on how to do this?

are the correct bearing in the correct location in the trans halfs?. I ran into that problem when I went to a ball diff in a slash.. if I remember right put 2 smaller gears in 1 side then put 1/2s together it all just slide in place

So I went out in the yard and wedged the top drive gear between two rocks and beat the input shaft until the pin fit into the recess of the top drive gear. It worked. Otherwise I would've had to get my hands on a table vice and do it that way. But yah a couple of rocks and a hammer and voila I got my top drive gear on my input shaft.
