rolex i know its been a while for you and the apple, the ;last time i went down the west side highway it was pretty good. no bumps. the F.D.R. drive and the B.Q.E. are the worst ones right now. i remember when my bro got hubcaps he went down the B.Q.E. and come home wiht no hubcaps LOL!! is it really the stop lights are 27mph?? i will never get caught on 2nd avenue again!!

Now that sounds like a test I'm ready for!

Rolex,

I love your new sig. I can't remember what your old one was... but everytime I see a post by you it makes me laugh... then I see the sig and laugh harder ;)

you mean "i'm a bomb disposal technician. if you see me running try to keep up"?

What were we talking about. I forgot.

Anyway, to make things clear for NYC driving, If you are on ANY one way Avenue, and there's not a rush hour going on, 27 MPH will take you the entire distance without having to stop for a light. Just watch the lights ahead of you, and you'll see them changing sequentially, so you'll know if you need to add a bit of speed, or slow down a hair.
I piloted limousines in the city for a couple of years, so I learned all the tricks.

I think Sly has you Ed. Close frickin race. My other car is a fuckus, does that help my ranking? Actually we are selling the Focus and buying a '96 Cynthia (Nissan 300ZX) with T tops and twin turbos for Barbie. She didn't want the Focus, go figure? LMAO Ed can you see her driving this? See told me it was her dream car so wadda ya gonna do? She asks so little and puts up with SO much :)

WOW !!! I once owned a 53 MG TD. Of all the cars I've ever owned, that's the one I regret selling. I'd love to see some pics. Do you have any idea of it's current value? Just so I know how many boxes of tissues I'll need.

Here was my dad's Sprite!

A telephone pole! And thank god for that pole or he would have went off a 100ft cliff and I would have never been born. I could kiss that pole! He was driving fast on a canyon road and it switched from pavement to gravel mid corner and they slid. My da had some bad ass spotrs cars back in da day. He messed his back up for life with that accident though. 2 ruptured dics and once one goes it's kinda all down hill.

I have a couple of RB .28 motors hooked up to a pair of roller skates. It kinda looks like I'm skiing down the interstate or something. I come into work work lookin something like FastEddy's avatar (just more bugs in my teeth).

I have a '67 Mustang Coupe with a 289 and a 3-speed auto. Its gonna get some work. New engine/trans/rear end are in the near future. I'm thinkin high horsepower with lots of torque!!! Roots-type blower maybe? Maybe ill keep the supercharger secret and put in a centrifical type under the hood! Then drop a TKO-600 in it with a ford 9-inch. Ill be good to go. Too bad california has so many damned bumps in the roads!

My buddy had the 67.5 Cugar with the 289 and he had all the bolt on's. That thing was awesome until the electrical system caught fire and the car melted to the ground like a Bic lighter.

1999 Mazda 626 and for my side jobs a 86 Nissan Pickup

If the LR3 is anything like the latest series of Discoveries, I'd pass on it and go for the Armada. I had nothing but problems with my 2000 Discovery. If you are really set on getting the LR3, I'd wait a year or two until they get any new car bugs worked out.

It's all new design. The people I work for bought one and the thing is really nice. I happened to run into a LR NA rep at a convention I was at and talked to him at length about the car. According to him Ford gave them $1 billion and said design something of your own. The reliability has been greatly improved from what I have been able to find out. I know the disco was a pain in the ass.

I saw an Enzo when I was in Rome, Italy back in june, unfreakinreal! It just so happened it was when I was standing in front of the Lamborghini dealership drooling over those. I had to go back to the hotel and change after that.

Well, daily driver here is a 2002 Ford Taurus wagon. Great lil' grocery getter/rc hauler in the summer. Long distance driver is my 1999 Tahoe Limited. Then there is the 83 Celica GT that I have here. Still working very strong after 200K on the odometer. It's a true "kamikaze" car. If it's there in the morning ... thank you. If it's gone ... thank you. Not scared to take this car anywhere. Still reliable but is generaly used to block off a parking spot in back of the house for ease of taking the boat out during the fishing season.
