Most if not all suspension forks have a lockout feature. Which completely eliminates suspension in the fork. And unlock, allows suspension.

Yeah I would never have rear suspension. My dad has a nice Schwinn in full suspension and its the goofiest riding thing to me lol.

There is a huge difference between a schwinn full suspension and a real bike's rear suspension. Its like comparing an RC you get at a hobby shop, and one you get at walmart...

Both my front shocks and rear shock are lockable. I've got 5 inches of travel both front and back, its amazing!

I agree IF it is a shopping center Schwinn. Before they sold out they used to have killer bikes, this one was $1200 new several years ago. Just throws me off having any give while under hard pedaling. I dig your bike though, its sick for sure!

Once upon a time, Schwinn and Mongoose were top notch. When they lost their main riders is when they started showing up in the toy department at walmart lol, sucked at the time cuz I had both a Schwinn and a Mongoose as well as a GT, luckily the GT hadnt gone over. I see now that even DK has walmart bikes!!!! WTF.

Haha I know it. Skateboarding for example. Tony hawk used to ride Birdhouse boards. They were top of the line. Now he has skate boards in department stores. But mongoose still makes some higher end bikes! If I were to get another DJ, I would get this one!

Looks like a Haro Pro.

I like to check out Pinkbike.com for used bikes. Lots of DJ's on there.

Yeah. But a lot of guys have there bikes for Pickup only.. :( I sold my old Frame set on eBay. Haha I can only imagine the guys face when the bike showed up in a "Huffy" box! :D

Here is my bike I got a couple of months ago. I've had it out a couple of times and love it. Very little rear shock bob during climbs and descents are insane. I can't believe how stable it is compared to my old ride.

What was your old bike Rob?

Here's a picture with the new lights on after dark. The headlight is blinding:

I had a first generation full suspension Canondale. I bought it in.... '98-'99 I think? and it was a grand then. They have came a long way since though. It was great for down hill which is what I used it for most when I moved to Albuquerque. We would ride down ski slopes in the summer and also had some great trails in the Sandias. Riding it Up hill though... not so great. The suspension took all your power out. No lock out or air shocks back then. I eventually swapped it out for a Fox air and it was MUCH better. I currently have a Trek 3700 (hardtail). I have an amazing series of trails a 5 minute ride from my apartment here in Korea. It is starting to warm up again so I am itching to get out for a ride.

What was your old bike Rob?

It was a K2 Razorback 3.0. My son now rides it so I will take a pic and post it sometime this weekend.

I also have my dads old Schwinn MTB that I use for on-road. It's from when Schwinn actually made decent bikes. I take a pic of it as well.
