Hi, I am about to tackle painting and trimming my first body. My question is....how do you guys accurately cut window openings? Do you just take it real slow with Lexan scissors, or is there some other secret? Also...any websites you can point me too that have tips and tricks for doing bodies? Thanks

Chad

If you mean cutting a circle than this is the shiznit I use

that is $10 here http://www.hpiracing.com/buyhpi.htm or a bunch of other places. That and a good pair of curved lexan scissors like this

their are other good brands but just to give you an idea. Those are $12 at the same site.

I precut everything with curved scisors and finish it with a Dremel to ensure round cornes,

I use the same circle cutter for round holes that HB recomended. For everything else I use a dremel, first with a diamond cut off disc, then a sanding drum. When I am done I hand sand all the cut edges smooth.

what RPM on the dremel, when i tried that the lexan melted and gloped up on me
:wtf:

I use a dremel to pop a hole through the windshield, then cut it out with a good pair of Lexan scissors. Leaves a nice smooth edge for me... Get creative with your air holes. I traced the oval cap of a deoderant stick for my Losi... lol
