I want to get a body with a pic of some hot chick, I have yet to find the pic I am looking for. But I was wondering if it's possible to have a custom made pic so I can use the pic I am looking for. Any info on this would be great.

Thanks.

Yeah... wtf. I'm new to the whole custom body thing but how the hell would I use Photoshop?

what you are lookin for is pin up art pinupartgallery.com has good ones if your willin to pay the dollar that they charge to view the pictures its not reel chicks its airbrushings of them.

I'm lookin for a pic of Kate Beckinsale if there are any. Heheh. I was wondering if there was any way to print out a decal that you can just put on the body then airbrush a background or something.

Alright, thanks. I haven't found any good pics yet, I found one but I am gonna see if I can find a better one.

Later.

Anyone know where to get SuperCal whatever it is??

Nevermind, I ran a search in HotBot and it gave me their website. www.superdecals.com

Later.

if you look around the site there should be some pics and tips on how to do this...

There are a few guys here that have glued pics to the inside of the lid and painted around the pic. There is a special glue I think. This way the pic doesn't get torn off or ripped or messed up by bashing.

You may want to look into doing that instead of putting a decal on the outside.

It just so happens that I am one of the guys that use the lexan glue.

What you want to do is go through a Magazine and find a pic that will fit on your car body, and one that you like.
Carefully cut the pic out with an exacto knife.
Get some Faskolor, Faskoat #40200. (it's glue that dries clear)
Get a hobby paint brush and paint the picture with the Faskoat, and stick it into place.
Then pick your favorite color to paint over the sticker and your done.
Tip: Put the picture where you want it because it sticks quick!!
Let the glue dry before you paint.
Try no to play with the picture after it's glued in place. The paper will be wet, and will rip easily.
Try it on an empty 2 litre soda bottle first.
Any other questions, just ask. Here is an example. I used the info booklet inside a video game, cut and stuck it to the body.
Good luck.

I'm not stupid enough to put the pic on the outside. But I have a pic I like since I don't think I will find any better ones. Anyways, I will go ahead and do that.

Thanks.

they used supercal in the august r/c driver. they are waterslide decals and after you apply it you use the finishing stuff over it and then you can paint.so to clear it up these go on the inside

Sorry RatzoRC, it wasn't directed at you, if you would read the post before yours robriguez was the one that said something about putting it on the outside.

So in theory you could do the same thing with photo paper or brochure paper that you printed on?

Absolutly. but be sure not to slop the pic around too much because the ink might run on something that might have been done on a computer printer.
I guess it would have to be done with water proof ink.
