So my electronics work fine but when I hook up my failsafe the servo goes nuts, it will sit fine in neutral but when I try to move it with the TX it will jump all ove the place. any reason why? I'm running the Futaba R153F 3-chan RX with the Futaba 3PM-FM TX could it be the modulation? (PPM)
 
What brand is the failsafe? And PPM i believe has failsafe built in, but I could be wrong; the radios manual should specify.
 
It is a Venom Failsafe Yes my TX supports the failsafe but the RX doesn't I don't think, it says how to set it up in the manual but the function doesn't come up on the TX

yep i checked, failsafe is built into the HRS RX only
 
Bummer on the built-in. It could be the reciever and the failsafe clashing; Perhaps try another reciever?
