Crapy Pipe Wire

Has anyone broke your tuned pipe wire. I dont know how I did it I hit a few jumps and brought my MT to me and noticed my pipe was bouncing around I took off the body and is had busted. Well my day was over cause I did not want to break any thing from my pipe bouncing around. Well I figured I would have to spend some $ on a new wire But after rumaging around in my room I found a 25 ft spool of wire and it is a perfect match so I was out the next day and no matter how many wires I break the wire I will always have more lol.

that's interesting. must have had a weak spot somewhere in it.. maybe a nick or something. The pipe mounts that came with my THS pipes were so tough I had to use one of those brass tube benders to kink it the way i wanted.

i ahev broken a pipe wire before. it sucks, becuase then you have to go and search for something that will work until you can get a new wire. i used a clothes hanger once LOL!!! it took so long to cut it and bend it the way i wanted. but it works well for a quick fix.

Clothes hanger works good, but in a pinch, use a Zip-tie to hold it on nice and snug. If you're worried abut scratches use cardboard to keep it from contacting other the rest of your ride.
