Will it harm your motor if you have no fuel or a glow plug in and try to pull start it. My friend doesn't know about Nitro Rc cars and i went to the bathroom and he tried to start it. The engine is brand new. its a small .05 engine Sportwerks Chaos

I don't think so. The only thing that'll happen is that the piston will move up and down. Why was he trying to start it in the bathroom?

no We were in my room then i had to go pee then when I came back he was trying to crank it in my room. Hes stupid I would of laughed it it did start my hole room would look like smoke

I wouldn't suggest repeatedly doing it as you have very little lube in the engine. It will scrape up the cylinder walls and con-rod bushings.

Typically, new engines are a bit wet inside with a light oil. Before I start up any engine for the first time though, I make sure to throw a few drops of aro in the GP hole prior to trying to start it.

You need to make sure NOBODY messes with it when you're not there.
If it was ready to start, and you weren't there, it could have gone full throttle and he would not have known what to do. You would have thrown the rod and eaten the engine. You don't need a room full of carbon monoxide, either.

That's what I do. It just isn't advised to sit there and crank a RC non-ringed engine over and over and over as the engine never gets to operating temps and causes wear. Especially if you don't have fuel flow. Then you don't have proper temps or any lube.

also if enough nitro smoke gets to ur furness, then furness goes kaboom and the house is blown up. haha so i dont start mine in my house, if i do i take it out quickly.

dont do it to much or you may score or scratch the cylinder sleeve, or if it is not lubed when he trys to pull it it may seize
