i thought that problem was only around here :hehe:

Everyone here asks stupid money for their stuff but after a week or so of not getting any offers they usually tend to take my much more realistic offers. I also never ask anyone if the rig runs or not but I do explain to them how important the break-in process is and how important it is to keep a good tune on the engine. Most people are selling their nitro rigs because they can't get them to run properly so if you just plant the seed that it may need a new mill because of a bad tune or improper break-in you can get some killer deals.

right! there are a few nitro rigs on Craigslist here for $100 or under. thought about picking one up. but as stated in my other post i picked up a extended t-maxx chassis today for 3 bucks with the intention of switching everything over but i though it would also be cool to build one from the ground up. but i don't know what I'm going to do yet. but i though it was a killer deal for 3 bucks. never had anything mounted not even a scratch. it was in the original bag

Chassis are cheap as chips on ebay. I generally get my revo chassis for .99 each when I need them. I ordered 3 a month ago and am on my last one now :(

oh well thanks for ruining the moment :hehe: just kidding bub. but I'm the type of person that likes to have my stuff now. i don't have a lot of patience and like to wait on my parts to get here :D

Thats why you need multiple rigs ... when I only had one I was constantly going to the LHS and getting raped because I wanted to run today. Once you get a couple of rigs you can just run a different one when you break one and order parts online. You can generally get a nice hop-up part online for what you are going to pay for a stock replacement at the LHS.

:hehe:ill tell the wife that and see how that goes over lol I've been wanting to add a revo 3.3 to the collection

Well I got a buddy thats got a revo 3.3 chassis that he said I could have for free. Then I could just build one. Instead of building another maxx.

And I thought I got a good deal when I bought a Jato 3.3 with a brand new engine and rebuilt chassis for 300!
