RC Driving Style
Saw an ad on craiglist for a 3.3 revo and a 3.3 tmaxx asking $400 for the pair. Offered $300 sight unseen and he took it. Showed up and found a brand new never run revo and a tmaxx with maybe 1/2 gallon through it and it already had traxxas aluminum bulks on it.

Both came with 2.4 transmitters and enough spare parts to almost build a new rig :)

Came home put some new fuel in em and they both fired up within two seconds of hitting the ez-start. Went ahead and did the break-in on the revo and beat the piss out of the maxx for about 4-5 tanks without a single problem.
 
That's an awesome deal and glad to hear you made out. It's not too often we hear(or hopefully see) someone land a sweet deal like that.

Time to invest in some dynamite air filter oil for sure. That's one nasty filter on that tmaxx. Great pics and very nice rigs. You are now the envy of us guys that paid nearly full price for a rig like that.

Both trucks already have motorsaver filters on the way :)
 
Wish ya could find deals like that where I live. Everyome here seems to think they can sell their rc for what they have in it and then some. Like I'm going to pay the same price for a used maxx when I can buy it new for what there asking.

Yeah most people in my area seem to think their redcat is worth more than they bought it for.
 
Yeah I just troll through the post that are a few weeks old and send them all the same "is this still available" email. I figure if they have had it listed for 2-3 weeks and still have it then I may have a good chance of making a deal because they just want it gone at that point.
