if i ever have trouble with Cox system again. i will cancel my hook up totally and start all over. even with the start up cost. the cox modem i had will NOT work right if doesn't have a phone hooked up to it. ???????? and that was just the start of my trouble. dont EVEN ask about the box for the TV.

WOW, that's funny you mention that. I was just talking with a customer just yesterday about an issue they are having with their DSL modem. They ended up buying a TP-LINK 8616 modem to replace the one their provider gave them... many years ago.

Might be worth looking to see if it's compatible with Cox or not.

well its all working fine now. but why do we 4 electronic boxes to run a computer and TV? i may be 65 years but i do remember my electronics training. and i think all that could be done in ONE box.
