RC Driving Style
Hi All,

I have just swapped my stock cooling head for the ACNCM head and I have had seriosu problems taking out the securing screws. I think mainly due to the cheap Hex drivers I used.

Anyway I have decided that I would like to replace these screws as some of the heads look a little rounded. Can anyone tell me the part number for the 5 screws please as I can;t find them on Traxxas website.

Many Thanks.

Excellant, thanks very much.

Just have to find a UK Supplier now.

Any 3x12mm cap screws will work. But I suggest investing in a good set of drivers, that alone will save you a ton of aggravation.

also remember do NOT locktite head screws.

Cheers Nitro,

I have ordered myself a decent Hex driver as well. Thanks for the tip on not using Loctite.

NC, why no loctite on head screws?
I use th eblue on the tips...I drop it in the hole before I put the head on.....what does it do?

If that head is for the boat then you could potentially make the T-Maxx water cooled. I wonder if that would work.

Yeah, it is possible. I have seen radiators for r/c cars on ebay... It looks neat, but it isn't necessary.

Water cooling for these engines doesn't really make sense. The added weight and complexity doesn't provide any sort of real benefit...
