Converting jato 3.3 into electric?

I'm sure this has been talked about and even been done before but I got a few questions. I love the insane speed you can get out of some of these brushless systems. I know nothing about electric so my questions are:

Can this be done with the jato?
If so what kind of price we talking? I'm sure the price will depend on what I go with.

Maybe somebody can point me in the right direction. Post up some pics if you've done this and whether or not you like.
