what you do on your property is your business unless the law have something to say about it. if you're terrorizing golfers on the golf course (not your property), then you're out of line.
i've never had anyone complain about my nitros. i don't have a lot of space to run my buggy, so i tune it and test drive it in the culdesac. if my neighbors ever asked me to stop, i'd be very nice about it and do my nitro elsewhere. there is no sense making your neighbors mad.
