Alright everyone i have a question.
I'm thinking of purchasing the T-maxx. And just so u know I'm new to this stuff.
after buying this car I'm prtty much using it for going around neighbourhood in sand and stuff buy no crazy tricks w.e... What is maintenance on this thing? Do things break easily or are they realiabloe and durable. Also what do i need to do for maintenance as oppsed to using an electic.
Alrighty Gimme a review on the TMAXX CLASSIC THATS THE ONE I'm GETTING...
aLRIGHTY THANKS:bandit:

ok well for starters just bashing no jumping and trying to keep it off its lid you wont have durablity problem one these trucks are easy to maintain really all you need is some ARO (after run oil) and air filter oil(if you buy new this will be included) other thing i would do first is glue the tires to the rims

maintence is easy store it at room temp put ARO into the motor when you are done running it and make sure the motor is in good tune also make sure you break the engine in properly if the truck you are buying is new keep your air filter clean and oiled after every couple hours use you will have loads of fun also a great investiment would be an inline fuel filter not necessary but a good investment to protect your engine

If you have enough for a new TMaxx 2.5, do yourself a favor and save the extra 80 bucks and buy the 3.3. They are so much more durable and if you decide to upgrade the mill further along the line you won't have any drivetrain issues like the 2.5.

To start off the truck is a great truck and don't worry about breakin it I've only broke mine lower a-arm once "Knock On Wood" but I was going like 15 or 20 mph and ran it into a stump. Maintaince is a breeze it takes me like 15 min. to do after run maintaince and I also have a 2.5 for one you start off by emptying the gas in the tank after you have done that take the easy start wand and rolling the motor over with the GP in it to burn all of the access gas out. Your next step you be to take the GP out and the air filter off and spraying a 1 sec. burst of WD-40 into the GP hole and the air filter hole. Next you take a peice of paper towel or a cloth and put it over the cooling head and put your easy start in and roll it over for 10 sec. and stop remove what ever your using and let it sit for a few sec. then put it back on and do it over again, do this 5 or 6 times. Put the GP back in and the air filter and wipe the inside of the cooling head out to get all the access WD-40 out. One of your last steps is to wipe down the hole chassis to get all of the dirt off and spary it down with compressed air or air compresser. If you are storing it for a long period of time remove the tires so they don't get a flat spot in them. I hope this helped. Don't get electric they are very boring compared to a t-maxx they are boring I have one and I drive my t-maxx A LOT more then my rustler.

You ain't drivin hard enough if you ain't breakin things.:second_place:
