....I swear this is the biggest pain in my ass I have ever had on my PC.....

No your not F'ed, but the longer its on your machine..the worse it gets. The link i posted above will get it off your pc. It only took me 15 minutes to remove it. It works..the directions are rather simple. Other than that the only other possible way to remove it is to reformat your HD...and thats a pain too.

Thank you for posting the link again..I will try it when I get home I just haven't had time or been near my home PC since I read your thread.....I'll give it a go tonite and see.....if not then reformatting my PC is not difficult I got it down to where I'm back up and running in about 3 hrs w/ everything the way it was before....my home PC is stripped down to bare bones operation cause it's a P3 667mhz....getting a lil old now about 7 yrs same PC and it still keeps on ticking.....and I have yet to run any anti-virus software but after this stuff I'll be a subscriber......did someone say Norton 05 has ad block features......I know many of you aren't fans of Norton but it's only a home PC and from what I understand it's fairly easy to set up...kind of like the AOHell of antiVirus....

I to also had this about:blank on my computer at work. I found help on the majorgeeks.com forum. A lot of the programs did not work, finally got it a few weeks later. I found that Panda antivirus and trendmicro online scan found a lot of spyware/adware.
