Yes, I have my AFDB on right now. My mind is now impervious to HB's jedi mind tricks.

Man, I need one of these :ale:

I hate to keep things going, but man, things like CG make very little real-world difference in speed. It would make more of a difference in the handling/cornering department if anything. Speed isn't going to take a hit really.

True that speed on the track is all up to the driver, but I usually assume people are talking from an equal-driver point of view; after all the analysis is on buggies not drivers.

And also, note I did mention weight making a difference in speed in my previous posts, however I stated it would be minimal. Maybe you missed it.

Anyway, i'm sorry, I think this whole debate has probably been a bit of a misunderstanding thing... can we call it a truce? we could go on for days and days otherwise. I don't mind, but wasting server space for :argue: is kinda nasty.

Oh and I haven't changed my username.... I have always been (and always will be... till I switch cars) uDi_MP7.5 on all RC forums, including this one. Once upon a time, a long time ago, I was uDi_NMT.... thats the only name change i've had. Do I have the pleasure of knowing you from anywhere else? :dumb: Maybe your thinking of someone else.

oh... and check this out even Osama's twin brother has an ADFB. Maybe I should get one ASAP.

Soooo El P., did you ever ditch the speed bump and hit up the big jumps in your buggy??

Still having Nose Dives?

Its hard to follow this Thread.

Its gone off into a GS/7.5.
(Truth be told, BOTH cars are Great, its your DRIVING THAT SUCKS.. LOL)

Anyway...

From one of your last post about NOSE diving.

Its sound like your having Tail slap, this is when your rear end its the jump and bottoms out... Bouncing off the ground. Its very common on the track near me that poorly maintained...

Its fun to beat the pro when they come, until they figure out JUST how bad the track is, then your in the B main.. boohoo.

Here is how to fix it...
Higher rated springs.
Higher rated Oil
More Travel (but not to much or Handling is screwed.)

- I run my rear arms about 7mm below chassis. (Droop) (the bottom outside end of the arm is 7mm below the bottom of the chassis)
- My Rear Oil is 300. (or Assoc. 30)
- I run Kyosho Blue springs.
- 11mm of Spring Spacers.

(And the real Trick)
Add Fuel tubing or some other method of limiting Shock down Travel so that the Shocks bottom out FIRST.

I use about 5mm of fuel tubing on the Shock shaft lower section (outside the oil).

I use fuel tube because its a softer hit then shock limiters.

Spells_pt, welcome to the forum. it's nice to see that we have another person posting in the forum that really knows buggy racing. (i'm not one of them LOL)
