this is a pretty new car. only two quarts of fuel ran through it.
i ran it today and the flywheel just spins now... whats can casue this?

Your problem is prob that the nut holding the flywheel to the collet has come loose. I would put some locktite and tighten it. Let it dry and go try that!

i dont see how it would get that loose D: doesn't it self tighten? plus i could barely get the nut off. it was lock tighted

The shaft on the engine could be too long not letting the nut sqeeze the flywheel on the collet.

I had the same problem. I put a spacer behind the collet and all was well. Only thing I did wrong was not replace the collet so It's the same thing all over again. Should've done it from the get go. Gonna replace the collet and all should be fine. Since you will have the whole assembly out, clean up the clutchbell and scuff it with a scothbrite pad since it's already dissassembled.

well i took the whoole engine apart gave it a nice cleaningdint do the clutch yet... but i tightened up the clutch nut and the flywheel seems to be on there strong
