Well I have been looking for the fastest engine under $200 for my X-Terminator. So far the Collari B3 has been suggested by a few members here. I can get one on eBay for around $180 shipped. I hear it has tons of torque, but has potential for top end with the right pipe. So, I was thinking about getting the Collari B3 with a Ofna 086 pipe. I hear this combo will give me great all around power, and it will cost me around $230 for everything, which is nice. I heard the fantom engines wear out prematurely and have some other problems as well, and some have been sent back for warrenty. So I am really liking the B3 right now. Is there anything I should know about this mill? Does anyone here own one? Anything else I should look at?

Thanks guys.

A secret place...hey, I thought you only had $20???

Anyone have one of these mills?

No go back and read my post. I only have 20 bucks after i buy a new engine. Ill tell you everything i no about the engine if you tell me were to buy it for 180 shipped. Ac what have i ever done 2 u. We tight my brother. we go way way back.

the B3 is a nice mill. some of them had hard to tune carbs, but i belive that has been worked through now.

Yea I heard that too. I heard that the '05 versions have a composite carb instead of a aluminum one or something...whatever it was I heard they are much better now.

I saw a guy GIVE his sirio .27 to a friend at the LHS this sat. after running it in his truck.....said he'd never run that crappy sirio again.....I think the guy is on crack but hey to each his own right....

Isnt the Sirio .27 good? I have one, and even though i havent broken 'er in, she flat out hauls!

I think so...I had one and thought (at the time) it was too much engine for me or my truggy....some people just have more money than brains I guess....

Well guys, I just bought a Collari B3, Ofna 086 Pipe, and a Motor Saver Air filter. I think this will be a nice combo. The only bad thing I heard about this engine was the carb problem, but then I heard this was fixed with the composite carbs so I think it will be a great mill.

Ac hows it coming. I've been waitin for the 411. WHats goin down playa. Is it fast? low end or high? You even see that power yet?

Well it just came in about 5 minutes ago. Mine has a aluminum body carb, so I'm hoping thats the new one...it says sirio on it. Didn't come with a plug, but I put a OD #99 in to start with. No instructions...looks sweeet! lol, my 086 pipe also came. Hopefully I will break it in this sat...suggestions? tips? anyone? lol. Never used any other method than what the manufacturer said but this ones got no instructions. I think I'll try the heat cycle method.

Guys I got a problem, the enigne did not come with a nut to hold the carb on. I can't fine one that will fit, its a very fine thread. What do I do? Its not like the carb flys right out but I don't want to run an engine like this if the carb is about to fall out...or any enginie for that matter...help!

Take the engine with you to a hardware store and find one that fits, if the hardware store doesn't have it go to an automotive store they should have one.

Ahhh, never thought of an automotive store. I have tried the hardware store before for other things but they never seem to have metric machine thread stuff. Thanks vb I'll have the automotive place a try.
