I'm considering purchasing the Collari .32 w/ Roto Start from RushRC.com ($259.00) for my MGT that I'm hoping to start putting together this summer.

What do you guys think of this engine? The MGT will only be seeing bashing, as I do not race.

21rc10gt has one, hasn't heard much from him about it though. IMHO there are better engines for much less (about half) of what that one costs)

You know just after i posted this I came across a thread about the Picco .28 - after looking it up. I think the .28 turbo with a 9mm insert would be a better choice and it's a bit cheaper.

Though I do like the roto-start on the Collari.

My dad just bought the new sh .28 6 port pro, and its intense! He got it for 134 shipped to his place, and it came with the rotostart.

Highest tq rating rc car action's dyno has ever recorded.

I have a collari 30, and it has a lot of power but it is a pain to get tuned right. I also have 2 picco 27 and love them. If the picco 28 is anything like them it should be a great motor. I have also heard great things about the O.S 30.

I'm Probably gonna pick up the LRP spec 3 heard lots of good things about the Spec2 and the ones I've talked to say the Spec3 is even better

LOL, no one ask me... I just happened to buzz by this thread. Yes, the Collari 32 is a great engine. I have it on my rc10gt, but never the less, the engine is a complete beast! The hyper 8 port i had in there before was fast, but this thing is just crazy. When i get a chance I'm going to put the lower gears on there and see what it can do. I can't keep the wheels down as is.
