so what if you cut a hole in ur windsheild, and put a computer fan in it so that its a good fit. the fan would haveto run on an additional battery most likly so make sure you have room on the chassis. next you have to rig up a funnel to taper the air supply down to a desired size (you may have to cut the funnel so that your air filter will fit in the base of it with out being to consticted. (leave the filter housing on the element ) us clear flexible PVC to run the air from the fan/funnel housing to the air intake on the carb. there ya go
:radio:

i have yet to apply this idea yet but i thhink I'm gonna try this weekend

does it sound like a feasable idea to youall?

If you pressurize the intake too much I think you would blow the fuel backward out of the line. I don't know if it is worth the weight and trouble.

maybe

but if that supercharger thing works...this is at least worth a shot, it claims it puts like 15 times the normal amount of air in, i know a little computer fan isnt gonna do that...

Why dont you just cut a hole in the body then but the fan in then bam at least you will pretty much have cold air going to it all the time.

it sounds nice, but what about keeping it in place, especially if its a basher. good luck. show some pics if it works cuz it would be something to consider.

hm...

i really wish he would do it... wait he can't his t maxx broke yesterday. he put a cold air intake on and we where bashing in my backyard (well he was because mine broke) and he was like "dude I've got massive torque" then the engine dies and we look..no air fliter then we walk around the year and see it...and there were leaves in the carb...hm..not good...haha well there the story of how his t maxx engine died....:flaming: but hey...on the bright side. i got mine running good today haha:banana:

would the power gain exceed the added weight ratio is my question?

and also keeping a nitro engine too cold is a bad thing as far as performance goes. My engine runs so much better in the 240-250 range than anything. That does differ from engine to engine though.

"would the power gain exceed the added weight ratio is my question?"

a computer fan weighs nothing the only prolbem would be the battery, I'm having trouble finding a proper voltage fan to hook into the battery on the truck for the rx.

yes thast the story of how my trx bit the bullet, but on the brihgt side, I'm getting a .18 to replace it ROCK ON
