I am having a hard time getting my nitro to fire up when it's cold. I have heard that if you take a blow dryer to the motor to warm it up, it starts much easier. If this is true, what am I supposed to do when I take my car out to a race track?

As for tuning, I have already tried richening the top end. If and when I do get my car running the engine has already been tuned up and runs like a champ. It's just that first time starting it up when it has been sitting for a couple of days.

the aro or wd you put in there might prevent starting. Take out the glow plug, squirt in some nitro, and flip it over and turn over the engine. All that nitro will come out along with the aro or wd40 or whatever you used. Thats what I would try anyway.

How do you get to the track?

On cooler days (less than 55F), I put my truck on the floor of my car with the heater blasted on high until I get where I'm bashing. Then I get my fuel/radio and everything ready and the last thing I do is take the truck out of the car, then immediately fire it up.

Works great for winter/fall bashing. The car heater gets the head up to about 90F.
