Cobweb Spray Paint

I'm looking for some spray paint I used a long time ago on my Losi XX-T electric truck. It was red (i think) paint that splattered when it came out of the can and made cobweb-like designs on the body. It looked like my body had spiderwebs or cobwebs all over it. Anyway, it was super easy to paint, just mask off windows, spray cobweb paint, let dry and then spray your main body color. Anyway, I can't remember who made the stuff or what the name of the product is, has anyone used it and can help me find some, preferably online at Tower or Hobbypeople?

When I used it before, the black-on-red came out kind of orange, and I got this nice, marble-like effect, very subtle but bright when the light hit it right. I'll post some pictures when I get home of it. Thanks.

Looks like some type of marble effect paint job they put on custom Harleys. I think actually a craft store (Michaels or Hobby Lobby) might have that marbling effect paint.

Maybe so, but what you're seeing is actually just black paint on top of the cobweb stuff. There's two layers there (not sure how many coats of each). The marbling just kinda happened since I put black with dark red-orange. I think the cobweb paint started out as hot pink and got darker with the black behind it.

If by rattle can you mean spray paint (from a can), yes. No airbrush required.

I used to use that stuff alot back in the day, they stopped making it years ago.

If you sprayed it very lightly and backed it with a light cover coat it would look like cobwebs inside the body, a heavy coat and darker color would get marbled like that pic posted.


I'll have to look, I may have a can kicking around somewhere.
