Hello, after some great advice from this forum. I have managed to get my kyosho inferno sports running nicely and have just ran the third tank of fuel today as i am breaking it in. There is a nice trail of smoke, the engine ticks over nicely without stalling. I have not gave the car too much revs only a quarter at most. The only thing is that when the car accelerates theres i slight cluttering noise for a couple of seconds, does anyone know whats causeing this? And am i doing everything ok with breaking in my car? I'm new to the nitro world. Many thanks.:)

When I was breaking in my OS 18 it made a sound such as you're describing. I believe if its the same thing that its caused from the rich break in settings and the piston not being worn into the sleeve just yet. It should go away when you're able to lean it out and are finished with break in.

my t-maxx 3.3 did the same to me. it finally stopped after about 1 gallon of fuel. most of my engines dont completley break in till about 1 gallon.
