i defanitly like the aliminum 3 shoe clutch better. i run on pavement mostly, so its hard on the clutch, I've noticed there is less fade(alot!) after running for awhile, for example: after runnig many continous tanks w/stock clutch was kinda ruff, while my revo is still rolling backwards from a powerslide and then crunching the throttle. it wouldnt "light up".. that and coming out of the corners as well.. didnt really think anything of it, but when i changed clutches and did the same thing after maybe 4 straight tanks, it still would "light up" all 4,s instantly, coming out of the corners (ashpalt) was a diffrent truck, had to change my diff fluid to thicker couse i couldnt stop the front inside wheel from ballooning out. off the line its a more positve grab as well.. you also have more surface contact w/ a 3 shoue clutch..AND w/mine i was able to get diffrent clutch springs weights.. a tighter spring will open up later for a harder punch off the line, and a loser spring will open sooner wich will give you a smoother whole shot off the line with more control on lose tracks.. i have yet to replace an aluminum clutch shoe do to wear..
