:\First, I threw a pad off my slipper clutch, looking at it, i didn't even think it was possible, but i guess it broke a pad accross the pin mounts and tossed it. Want to know if it's worth just getting rebuild set, or is there a better, more reliable, longer lasting slipper that is worth the money.

Second, I'm in a dust bowl. No sand in Iraq, it's a talc like dust mixed with gravel and i'm eating filters. Anyone know if other filter brands are interchangeable? I'd like to find a source to pick up a dozen or so foamies that will fit in my filter housing and seal properly. I've looked at other brands and saw minor changes in housing like a screen outer but basically the same filter I already have on here. I see no need for a change or upgrade but will swap to anything I can get filters for easily and still provide the same protection

I never had an issue with the stock slipper. I ran my revo with a 18TM for most of it's life (about 1.5 years) with a run for a few weeks here or there with a big block conversion in it.

I'd try the new traxxas filter so you can put an outer foam on it, then oil the outer foam as well. At least then you won't have to clean it as often.

Probably make it run better too since it has more air flow available.
