I've always wanted to do this. Never really had the funds though. I really hope you keep us updated on this, as I'd love too see it goes. It looks to be in nice shape for a build too. Hpiguy is right with the xs too.
 
havnt got it yet had to leave town on personal crap but hopefully the guy wont get rid of it till i get back I'm tradeing my civic for it and he realy likes it so maby hu.
 
so do i go with thr xs or go fir a gs 1000

If I had a second car i would trade my civic for that. It's a 2008 civic with 82 000 kilometers on it lol. Just not use to having a car with so little testes. I guess I got more frugal in my old age, and wanted more mileage for gas. My last car was a guzzler 1990 cadillac deville, but she was pimp and in mint condition. Added some 20 inch wire rims and my god it was just beauty.
 
That is sick! I cannot wait to get my first bike, my dad is an old school biker, and looks similar to Paul SR on OCC. So I love bikes, and that thing looks like fun!

so got it this morning checked it out there are some nasty welds but no biggy i have a welder.
not sure what i all want to do to it not sure for the pipes as far as 4 pipes or 2 pipes don't want the single pipe.
who know

Congrats man, should be a fun build for sure. I'd love to do something along those lines someday myself, although it would be a street tracker for me.
 
Is that a KZ? If so what size? Man I've been wanting a KZ1000 forever. I love those bikes been wanting to build one into a vintage cafe racer.
 
no its a Suzuki gs 1000 they all look alike when chopped and bobbed can't wait to start grinding and cutting whoooo.
 
Not going to lie, the 1st pic is the best looking IMO, I like how the seat hangs off with no rear fender.
 
as soon as i get my grinder back from my brother its going to be a mad scientist moment with the lightning going on and everything muohaahahah.
losing the sisy bar rear fender the sheet metal on the rear and maby a 8-10 inch rear stretch as i need the leg room cause I'm 6 foot 7.
