I have decided to start racing my rc10gt. I've been checking the ROAR rules and found out that I ahve to have a .12 on it. I've been looking at diffrent engines and can't tell the diffrenece other then price. They all seem to have about the same HP and RPM range. Whats better? I'm looking at OS, RB Products, and Novarossi. Which one would be a better preference and why? Thanks,
Eric

From experience, Novarossi is the best I've ever had. It's easy to tune, holds a tune, performs well, and has a great lifetime. But if you don't have the cash for one, I'd say OS as next.

the OS motors I was looking at were around the $300 mark. Top of the line OS engines. I couldnt never find price on novarossi engines. where is a outlet for them?

Personally, i would take a look at either the RB engines OR a GRP engine. O.S are more "Middle of the road" engines IME.

Just my :2cents: worth

If your looking for a .12 and if RB sells a .12 or even a .15, I'm sure it would work out fine. However, i would check first. I'm no expert on the RC10GT.

I'm sure it will work on the truck I'm concerned about the ROAR rules and regulations for racing. RB mentions EFRA/IFMAR but no ROAR, which is what rules the localish tracks go by. The V12 R3 seems to fit the bill, but I'm not sure

Ya, doesn't Ofna make a Picco .12 Red Dot? If it compares to the durability and power of the .26 in smaller mill, you'll love it!
