Cheap eBay engines ?

looking to pick up a cheap engine for a nitro sport on eBay there are cheap engines listed for like 60 buck under brands like vs and hsp just wondering if anyone has any info or experience with these it would help in my choice thanks

I recently picked up an HSP 1/10 scale Nitro Jeep Wrangler with the Vertex.18 engine. I wasn't expecting much but actually the break-in went real smooth. It was easy to dial in the carb settings and it runs surprisingly well. I just ordered another one for my nephew to get him started in Nitro RC. For the price they're ok IMHO

I would say go with a Traxxas engine for your Nitro Sport. the .15 engines I've seen for around $72 and the 3.3 starts about $80. You won't have to change any linkages and your header/pipe will fit without modification.
