is this a good Chassis for the Traxxas S-Maxx

I don't have any experience with the chassis itself, but looking at the auction it is only for a chassis. You would still need the motor mount, extended rear CVD, extended braces and or rear skid plat and all hardware.

Are you looking for a .21 chassis or just a new chassis?

Lookin just for a new chassis but I would like it to be strong but still to be light for Racing...

I was thinking about a .21 chassis but Plaidfish mentioned that you get faster takeoffs and quicker turning with a standard length chassis. There are tons of standard length chassis out there for reasonable $$. Check out the Fastlane Machine one here: http://www.fastlanemachine.com/FLM16040.htm
it comes with trick chassis braces.
You can find them on eBay or order them from the suppliers listed on the website.

Are there any goods or bads about the rcraven chassis. So just wondering what you think of it.

Looks pretty cool, but I don't have or know anyone that has it. Price seems real good.

I use the standard length version of the Racers Edge chassis. I like it a lot, and it has held up well to some serious bashing.

That truck is very nice, too clean, but very nice.

I was wondering how the bump stops on the shock towers were - do you like them? Have you snapped any control arms in 1/2 yet?

Oh wait, those are RPM arms, I know you haven't.

I know, I know, thats an OS CVX .15 Hyper, with a hardcore mutant head. It has been running so good for so long I hate to pull it out now. When it goes I will most likely just get an .18 for it.

The RcRaven chassis that I got is no good. All the holes are off and they send you a small plate to fix the motor mount screw up. (the holes are twice as large as they should be.) The tower for the throttle (near the trans) is way to close. I would go for another type chassis but that is just me. My brother in law has the ti chassis from RC Raven. He has the exact same problems. They keep saying they will send a fix as soon as it is done (its always this friday...or in a few days.) The holes that are countersunk arent cleaned up to well either. As soon as I get a chance I will be purchasing a new chassis. I like the look of the fast lane one w/the braces (oh yea I got the RCR braces. they look great w/the powder coating but all the screw holes where messed up and cross threaded.
