Well since you guys keep asking, I took a few pics of one of my tat's. Man, I thought it was hard to photograph a lexan body, but that aint got nothin on a human body! I had hell getting a decent pic of my tat. I use the best artist we have in town, and my ink still looks like I got it last week, and I've had it several years. So I take great pride in the quality of this tatoo, but the pictures don't do it justice. I almost didn't post them, but I'll try to get someone to help take the picture so we can get some decent quality next time.

I also have a cross on my back with my Dad's initials in it, and that's my pride and joy. It's all the difference in the world between a tatoo that really means something, and one just to have. I got this one just to have it, but I'm going to put some lettering with it that says "In Loving Memory Rods and Customs", like an on old hot rod shop sign, probably around it or something. I didn't want that to take away from the original tat, and I'm still working on getting the perfect letters drawn out, flaming of course.

It's crooked in the pics, but it's straight on my arm. It took 14 pictures just to get to that one, so I wasn't in the mood to take another one. The flash kept making it look funny.

Well drawn, but it's just kind of odd seeing a big block on a chick's chubby arm.

You're just not right, Rolex! Damn you guys make me laugh!!!

Very nice Charlie! I am working with my guy on the artwork for my next tatt. Want a torn arm thing revealing a Texas flag. Wish I could just draw it but I suck at art. BTW my guy is into RC's said he also wants to get an airbrush to do murals. I suggested he think about doing some custom lids...

If I'm still crawling in five years, I'm working on a sick tat to symbolize the part of my life from when I made the transition from hustler and thug to following the Lord's will and living my life with a positive goals, and it will include crawling and RC, which has been a BIG part of my life. I'm waiting though because I don't get a tatoo unless it has real meaning, and I'm not about to put ink on my body and then decide that I'm burnt out in a few months and move on, only to tell people why I got a tatoo of a toy car thirty years ago lol.

How did I know it would be you?

I hear you, man! Since we are sharing some heavy stuff I will share the story of this:

This tattoo was inked on the very day marking the tenth anniversary of my quitting drugs (I got it this past Monday). It symbolizes my internal and eternal struggle to be a good person. I don't need to explain furthur--anyone who has been there can figure it out... If not research yin and yang.

The Texas flag thing I am working on for my next tatt is just because of pride. I am a cowboy thru and thru!

Congratulations on 10 years man. That achievement is equal to climbing to the top of Mount Everest, about 1000 times, and then living there for 10 years. It takes a lot of courage and determination to do what you've done. I've got three years now and look forward to the day that I can say 7, 8, 10, 20 years. It's a great since of pride to know that you've accomplished something so great.

Time to celebrate!
:celebrate:

Congrats to you too, Charlie! It is NEVER too late to change! For my 15th I am planning on jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. I am very afraid of heights. My son thinks it's cool that I am trying to concur my fears. I just wish I could get him interested in RC's but he's having a lot of fun drumming in a 'lil band with his buddies...

I'm afraid of heights as well, and I conquered my fear of bungee jumping. I absolutely loved it, and I jumped several times off of the bridge that was over a dry river bed and had a blast. Then I came home and got on a ladder and my knees were knocking. That's when it hit me. I have a fear of falling, not a fear of heights lol. I have a fear of ladders and anything else thats "unstable." It's getting 20 feet in the air on something thats wobbling that scares me more than standing on a 300 foot cliff and looking over the edge lol.

No way in hell I could stand on that cliff with you my man!

When I was in junior high, I spent the summers in an extreme sports camp during the day. We went to different places every day, and did every type of extreme sport or hobby under the sun. It was boys and girls ages 11-14, so you can imagine the emotions going on and the "spin the bottle" type activities. The girls used to whisper in my ear that I was cute and I would get so dam embarrased and turn bright red, we all remember that ago. So we used to go hiking and stuff at a place called "Rock Island" in Tennessee, it was a state park. They had one cliff there that was about 120 feet I believe, and you could dive off into the water next to a huge waterfall. I didn't like heights and wasn't crazy about doing it. There was this really hot girl (rich private school girl from Brentwood, very goodie goodie type of hot school girl) that was liking me a lot back then, and back in the 5th or 6th grade (can't remember which) I didn't know what to do with it. I could flirt, but that was about it lol, so we were best friends and my biggest regret was not going to her house, because the year after that when I started to learn how things worked and the ole voice began to change, I sure was wishing I could get my paws on her again!! The girls liked me back then, I don't know what happened but it sure is different now! Anyway, the first time we went I didn't jump, but the I regretted it. So the next time we went, we didn't have time for everyone to jump, because it was quite a hike back up after we jumped to the bottom. So everyone was telling us that me and this hot chik should jump while we were holding hands and then kiss when we got to the bottom. This chik was smoking in her bikini, and I wasn't about to pass up this opportunity, plus she was looking at me like a sad puppy when I said I had to think about it. So we jumped, she put it on me, an I discovered that jumping off a cliff was way easier than I thought it would be lmao, as was the hot chik!

I have a weird phobia..... I WILL NOT go under any house, trailer, shed. SCREW that! There is snakes, black widows, brown recluses', and who knows what else. I'm fine with snakes and spiders but when i go into a spot where i can't sit up or get away quickly if needed, No thanks! I was going to install satellite systems, I found out you have to crawl under peoples houses sometimes... I turned it down. Ya I'm weird.

Yes you are! Actually not so much--enclosed spaces freak a lot of people out. I went to the family ranch when I was a kid. My aunt suggested I clean the pool and said I needed to start the pump in the pump-house. Now mind you this was in the Texas Hill Country west of San Antonio in Kerrville. Anyway, I open the door and the walls look a little dark. I find the string for the light hanging down from the fixture and pull on it. All of a sudden the walls start moving... They were COVERED in big-ass Daddy Long Leg spiders. If you have never see them they look like this:

Needless to say I HATE spiders!!!

Ya I'm not afraid of spiders I had a turanchula and I owned a few snaked before. Its just being under a house with them...

Daddy Long Leg spiders are also highly poisonous spiders, but luckily for humans, their mouths are too small too bite us.

I really only have the one phobia.
