Thanks a lot for the compliments guys. I've been sick since last week so I haven't gotten much else done. I've joined up with a group of guys here in Louisiana that put on crawler competitions, and we're all buying traxxas slash's and setting up the rules to have a slash class. I think the track is going to come in quite handy for that. Also, I've started on a crawler course that's going to be next to the track.

Bob24, I've got around 60 acres, but half of it is forest land. However we do have a natural creek that runs right through the middle of it, and I'm thinking it's prime for a scaler course.

The dirt is a mixture that I special ordered, my dirt man had to go out of town to get it. It's part clay and part sandy loam, so it packs down nicely, yet still breaks loose on top when you're running on it to provide maximum traction.

Just seen this thread Charlie and I must say it's looking AWSOME! Hope I'm invited down for the big RCNT bash/picnic. It would be cool for me to meet the man that's teaching me about crawling. Student/teacher competition?

Thanks a lot. I haven't made much progress lately. I've been working A LOT at both jobs, and spending what lil spare time I have getting ready for my first big crawling competition. I'd love to have you down here, by then I'll have my comp course set up, and a scaler course as well, with a bridge and waterfall.

thats going to be tight charlie i wish i had the resources to do that kind of stuff
