RC Newbie
I have an XL with the brushless conversion, I keep stripping gears in the tranny, that I have already rebuilt to the flux tranny. Anyone here used, or done a center diff in their savy? If so, how did you do it? Thanks.

I have never seen a center diff in a Savage....not to say it can't be or has not been done though. It would take a good bit of mods to do it. Sorry not much help there huh?
I saw it done once, but it replaced the entire trans, so no more two speed. Once you think of it that way, the mod'ing becomes pretty simple.
Remove trans, buy center diff, figure out mounts for center diff, brakes and axles to fit, done.

I would personally pull the whole center diff section from a good solid truggy and use the front and rear brake set-up too.
Hi, was looking to do the same after a locked 2nd and found this.
It's pretty simple and easy to do if you have a couple of good tools.
