I heard this truck was supposed to be $530. If that's true then all those upgrades on my maxx were in vain, but anyways, I wanna know if this would be a worthy truck for racing/bashing.It dwarfs the maxx, it's huge!!!! Just wondering cause either way, if this truck is under $600, I'm getting it. Later.

yeah that tank place is a big no no, the top speed will probably be like the thunder tiger .40 something one... around 35-40, remember, its a heavy truck.

Dont quote me on this, but i think on their website is says that the Genesis should do between 50-55. That's pretty quick for that big of a truck. A bit dangerous?

yeah I thought itd be pretty quick like around 50mph cuz of the .46 big block.

Yeah don't forget about the stock three speed. I do beleive I read it has one somewhere. Ummm guys the Savage has a gas tank right by the tire as well. Current problem with that is that the shock tower busts the tank on hard landings.

If this thing will stay together we are all in for a new level of fun. CEN deserves a big one for pulling this off. This truck should offer alot of what we havn't seen. The 3 speed tranny alone will help the top end woes of the other .46's (50-55mph top speed). There should be an insane amount of low end from that low first gear. How about that frame...Its about time someone took the TVP idea and ran with it instead of spitting out anouther truggy. I am excited about this truck...I just hope there was rigerous testing so it will be close to the durability of the Savage.

it's supposed to come out this summer. I measured my maxx today with that extended chassis and it measured 20 1/4 in. and this Genesis is 24" long!!!!!! It's crazy! And like I said, if the price is that low, I'm gonna get it. But I am a little curious wether the quality is good, I mean, come on, LOOK AT IT!!!!! And for a little over $500.....whose gonna buy the Revo? The LST for that matter.

Have to tell you after I got my buggy this weekend and took it apart and put it back together the savage is a Monster truck version of a buggy is all. It has set a new level of toughness for the MT market. Ummm and the TVP idea has already been done by the savage homie. Newayz I'm still excited to see what this truck can do as it is the first stock truck I have seen in the year that I have been back into this hobby that has four wheel steering.

New Nitro, re-read my post...I am comparing the new Genesis to the Savage. All of the latest trucks that have come out all have a pan chassis or something close to it. I was commenting on how CEN went with a TVP unlike the others. As for alot we have not seen....I am talking about excitement ....who else is offering a 5 horse, 15 lb. truck capable of highway speeds......"homie" ?
