It is really big.but it is slow and bulky, and due to the 10 shocks it does not have very much ground clerance for its size it is strictly for bashing not racing

I have recently heard from reliable sources, that it has many problems that the manufacturer is currently dealing with. I too was interested in this truck, but after much research, decided to stay far away till the bugs are worked out...

Well the motor that powers it has 5HP but... only 23,000 RPMs if you ask me... that is weak there will be on top speed at all this motor is only for getting off the line the quickest... plus since it is a airplane motor or heli. It is not going to be as good as lets says a .28.

When RCCA tested it, its top speed was.... 30 or some miles a hour. before it came out the website was saying it will be 50 maybe 55mph. Also does your hobbies shop carry any of its parts?

i agree

I agree that this truck needs some much needed improvement. But I do disagree with the fact that since it is a low rpm engine that it won't run fast.I have a truckzilla"aka savage .46"and yes it also is a low rpm engine, but with taller tires and different gearing, all this makes up the rpm prob of the engine.I can also say this from exp my truckzilla is way way faster than a .25 savage and will kill it through the rpm range. Now on the other hand I'm not saying go out and build one or even buy the genesis but don't knock the big engines.Another great example is my ttr ek4".70" I can guarentee that this truck will blow away just about anything from start until it runs out of steam.Wich is around 35mph,ya it's not fast but the tourqe it puts out is unbeleivable. If you have never seen one of these run than you have no room to degrade the big engines.Bottom line I don't recommend the really big engine trucks for a couple reasons.1-the engines have a ton of compression wich make them hard to turn over, lots of blisters 2-easier to damage them due to over leaning 3-alot harder on driveline parts.I did not intend to offend anyone that had bad imput on this subject of large engines. As far as the genesis,I'm sure that when they get the bugs worked out that this will be a really cool truck"with the three speed and reverse".I hope this may of helped.Thanks.RUSS
