Caught the XBOX360 bug.....;)

The PS3 is my favorite console so far, but I will be trying out the Wii pretty soon. For 360, All of the Halo series seems SO repetitive it isn't even funny. I have played, and beaten, all 3 of them, and am not impressed. It just isn't my kind of game I guess. Rainbow six Vegas, Dirt, Gears of War, and Lost Planet, just to name a few, are really fun. I have 360 Live and Ps3, so if anyone wants to play sometime, let me know.

Bioshock on the 360 is by far one of the best games I have ever played.

There's been a lot of discussion as to whether or not the heat issue is really related to position of the 360. I know guys that play the hell out of theirs and have them sitting vertically and the things get hot as hell. If I play the hell out of mine (it's in a cabinet too) it's only warm, no warmer than a desktop feels and I have mine sitting horizontally. Vertically the theory is that heat is rising over the chipsets and just hanging in the case.

Hmm lots to think about....I did pick up Dirt....what a blast.....I can almost keep control of the cars.....my kids however are making me look silly. All of that experience they have with the controller I guess.

Thanks for the feedback.I will play with cosole to be sure we are not getting too hot....it is on top of our entertainment center just now.....but with a New TV in the future things will change for sure as that piece of junk is going to the burn pile.

I have never felt my 360 for heat. Huh? Ill have to look into it also. I know back when I played my x box for hours at a time, and leave it on pause for days at a time lol, it never over heated. I thought I saw a inercooler at wallmart for like 30 bucks, maby that would be a cheap investment to look into.

I wouldn't get that fan if I were you.. the intercooler( from what I've been reading)

Actually causes over heating and possibly the ring of fire because it runs off the Xbox 360 power.

A fan with its own power supply would be the best thing you could get.
Cooling fan station
If you raise your X-box up on something where it can breath under the console you will notice it will run a little quieter and cooler, just make sure it won't be unstable.

On a side note TalonOne you said that you liked Dirt, but is there any other racing games that you like? Such as illegal street racing games?
I plan on getting Dirt when I get my 360 but I would like street racing games as well.

OH, and if you go by burgerking you should pick up the burgerking game.

I've seen reviews and its supposed to be a Mario style racing game and for only 3.99$ you can't go wrong..
