I bought a Castle Phoenix HV45 for my belt cp thinking I couple use it on the belt CP until I ot into bigger helis and then just switch it over to something bigger that used bigger HV lipos but it seems like this ESC is way to heavy duty to put on the Belt CP. The wires oming off the ESC are 3 times thicker than the ones coming off the motor. So I guess I have 2 questions, Is this ESC to heavy to use on a belt cp and what size heli would this ESC be better suited for?

Or should I just return it and get a regular phoenix 45A ESC for my belt CP?

Same wire on each

If those two ESC's are the same size, even though one is HV, they will likely still have the same size of larger wires attached.

Buy one suited to what you are flying.
No need to put a rocket motor on a paper plane... Smile
Yeah, poor comparison, but you get my drift?

PS, Sorry no one got back to you sooner...

Settled that

Hi,
Ok, well, not a matter any more...

Hope you have better experiences with its replacement.

Have fun..
