I will check my manual later, but I'm sure the factory needle settings are, HSN set 4 turns out (CCW) from closed. The LSN should be flush with the area immediately surrounding the screw head, that should get you pretty close. This setting will most likely be rich but shouldn't require alot of adjustment. I run O'Donnels fuel, when I made the switch from Traxxas Top Fuel I had to go back to factory settings, the O'Donnels needs a richer HSN. I actually had to richen my HSN even more than the factory settings to get the temps in the desired area.
If you still have your manual, read the part about the needles, it helped me to really understand what each needle does. If you don't have it, go to Traxxas.com and you can download a copy of it. It will also contain the factory needle settings.
