Carbon Fiber Turnbuckles....

Would anyone be interested in trying them if I can figure a way to make them? The materials are pretty easy to come by and I'm thinking of making my own set for my Maxx. Let me know what you all think..

Well then, I'll have to do some research and some measuring but I think it's doable. What kind of links are you looking for? The ones in the pics look like they are the rear links for a Maxx. I am going to see if I can make them small enough to use for camber and steering links and stuff. Hey, it's worth a try, right?

those things look sweet. On the site though it doesn't say how much they are.

CandyMan- I would be intrested, for my t-maxx with the RPM extended a-arms.

Carbon fiber turnbuckles...what next? Carbon fiber "boost bottles"? (lol) Do the turnbuckles increase peformance in any way or are they just "bling"?

Yeah I emailed the company about availability for the savage and they said they would be available on ebay in a couple of weeks. I imagine these are the same ones on fleebay right now.

Candyman.. I was thinking the same thing. looking at them pic's I can make my own. I've been into composits for over 8yrs and looked at that page and was like mmmmm....

I read an article in an R/C mag about making these... Something about Carbon Fiber Arrow blanks with special threaded inserts for the ends....

Got a set! These things are pretty awsome?!? I don't see how they would break after reading the info at www.aerosticks.com. The other CF turnbuckles out there are made by a hobby shop employee??? I decided to stick with the stock ends to keep from stripping my servo. So far I have about 4 hours of hard bashing with no issues.
