RC Driving Style
has neone seen or used a carbon fiber chassis on an associated ntc3??? if so what did you think about it??? i saw one on ebay and thought it looked real cool....just wanted to get others opinions on them.....check out my gallery for a couple of pics...

I've been told graphite is the way to go as long as you dont crash too much. its lighter than both aluminum and plastic, but not as strong as aluminum. So aslong as your not hitting curb or tires off parked cars a lot(like I do) graphite is the way to go.

Want some more information about CF and the RC industry? Go to Aerosticks.com . These guys are making CF turnbuckles for the T-Maxx. I have had a set for a few weeks without trouble. I learned a bunch about CF and RC stuff.
 
Graphite aka carbon fiber. Plastic is stronger, less prone to break in a crash. Carbon fiber is more rigid and responsive. For the less critical structural parts the graphite materials are rigid and lightweight. For the more critical structural parts use plastics and metals.

....unless of course you are an expert driver and your car does not attracted walls.
 
My stuff has never been attracted to walls. Floor fans, BMW's, hitting a horizontal plane from a vertical position, etc is more what my stuff has always hit but never a wall.
