I recently git my hands on an OS carb that fits right onto a 15FE engine. I know that the OS10E does work and fit right on but the one I got does too. It is not the 10E carb. It is a 2BK!! wiill try it out tomorrow.Anyone have any knowledge of this carb?

Hey, I am not to sure what size the carb is, but if you put a smaller carb on it will restrict air flow. The engine is meant to have a certain size carb on it. The air intake is meant to allow a certain amount of flow in, the carb only mixes the air and fuel. If you get a bigger carb, it won't make a difference because the carb only lets so much in at a time.
If you want a bigger carb, you would have to adjust the timing on the intake to.
Just my .02
I think this is right. I have been told this.
I do this on the r/c drag race boats I have to.
You have to for them.
If anyone has a different opinion on this, no offence will be taken, just trying to help out. Hope I gave the right info.
Peter

If your wanting more power from the FE go to the HPI website and enter their speed shop, they have carbs, heads, rebuild kits and other goodys for the sluggish FE engine!

I did and got the big bore carb. That didn't help since it doesn't help you out on tuning the mixture needle :tank:
