carb problems

i have a gs storm(stck motor).
It was put up for all of winter.(cleaned real good, fuel line taken off).
It did not hold tune at all:normal:
I am trying to tune it. I have leaned it 1/4th off the way on the carb from original setting(after break in).
Still barely any changes, maybe increased speed 3mph.
Its only running at about 20mph and can barely get through grass.
After break in my car ran much better than this!!!!!!!
I still have my healthy stream of blue smoke.

Should i keep leaning it out until it speeds WAY UP, or something else:help: ?

yea i would keep leaning it, just make sure you got a good trail of smoke coming out of your pipe :yes: also do u got a temp gun becuase that will help

How old is your fuel ? If the fuel you had sat all winter long it might be bad, even if you had it sealed up tight. Fuel gets stale. What glow plug are you using and what shape is it in ?
