Having alittle prob here. Every time I hit the breaks, after release, the carb opens up abit and get a high idle. Iv checked and played with every setting on my radio, trims and all, looked over the truck and can't figure it out. It's getting really annoying. It's a mbx5t. Any help is appreciated!!

i had the same problem with my savage but mine would open almost half throttle. I got sick of it and just turned my trim all the way down and took my brakes off, but i break more things now haha

Ya i have no idea anymore whats goin on here. Like i said, iv looked over everything, I'm sure its something simple that I'm overlooking or something like that. I just reset all the setting on my 3pm so its back to stock, still doing it. Gotta be something on my truck!!

The problem with the savage is because you need to adjust the small linkage that goes to the carb. Its the piece that comes off the L shaped piece attached to the chassis plate. Twist the small black adapter on the end outwards so your making it longer. That will tighten up the whole linkage. Also make sure your using a throttle return spring.

As for the first post, I'm not familiar with the rig. But I'm sure its something similar.
Hope this helps ya.

Now that you mention it, a spring or elastic is what i need!! Why didnt i think of that before..:\

the throttle should always have a return spring on it.

Yeah I always had one on my savage, don't know why I never put one on my truggy. I put one on last nite and pretty sure it will solve the problem I was having, I'll have to test it out this week. Would have today but it started snowing again, all the snow was almost gone and now the ground is white again!!
