Wuz up guys, I need a little help. I have a lrp 30 on one of my buggies and the high speed needle keeps working itself loose from the carb which is causing me to lose my tune. I had this engine originally in a different buggy that I wrecked, the engine was the only thing that survived, but since then the HSN is working itself loose. Has this ever happened to any one and how do I stop this? Can I put a little thread lock on it? Also I been having my LHS do the tuning for me, just had it done last week and now since the needle has come out again I guess I need a retune cause when I screw it back in it's not in the same place. Can some one give me some tuning tips?

You need to replace the O'ring that seals the needle, otherwise it will always walk and cause an air leak, pack the needle with some green slime apon assembly,.....I can't stress enough that you need to take the tuning into your own hands bud, haven't we taught you anything kalib?..lol

Thanks hotrodrob. I'm gonna try my hand at tuning bro, the only way I'm gonna get good at it is through trial and error I guess.lol
:\

That's exactly right bro!..we're here to help ya man, no matter what the issue, just ask,...maybe shoot hulkmaxx a pm about the O'ring I know he knows lrp mills like the back of his hand

Kalib I had the same issue with one of my carbs and the fix is exactly as hotrodrob described. I wouldn't recommend thread lock on the tuning needle threads.
