I have my engine and carb out of my maxx. I am considering flipping the carb, so I have better acess to the LSN.

Has anyone done this, and is their any drawbacks?

This is a great idea for rotary carb engines and would be a great idea for the slide carb as well. The only problem with the slide carb is that you have to rearrange the linkages in a pretty major way.

As for doing it, yes. I did it on my T-Maxx. The engine in question was a Fantom .15FR with rotary carb.

There are no problems what so ever with switching the carb around. Many people do this all the time when they do the .21 conversion with their T-Maxx. Go ahead if it suits your needs!
