Hey guys i was driving my truck around and all of a sudden it just started revving when i was pulling the throttle i noticed some of the parts by my clutch bell were gone like the clip but i dont know why it would just start revving,is it because my truck has lost some parts by the clutch bell?

is it just when its sitting after u let go of throttle or is it while u have the throttle on??

^ keith ^

If your missing clutch parts.........
The clutch opens and grips the clutch bell when the rpm's go up on the engine making the truck move.
If the spring or shoe or both are missing, there is nothing to engadge.
You will have a free spinning engine shaft.

What truck is it? Sounds like you lost some important clutch parts... I remember when I had a t-maxx with that stupid little E-clip holding on the bell. That damn thing would pop off and I'd loose my bearings and normally chew up a spur.

I bet you its your slipper. same thing happened with me when i had my xxx-nt. just tighten your slipper and if thats not the problemtake a look at your clutch. It might just not be catching...
